About Me
I’m Jose Melendez — a real estate professional shaped by service, structure, and real-world experience.
My career path isn’t a straight line, and that’s exactly what makes it powerful. I began in medical claims collections, where I learned negotiation, precision, and how to advocate firmly while staying respectful. From there, I moved into automotive sales, sharpening my ability to listen, guide, and help people make confident financial decisions.
I later answered the call to serve and proudly spent my military career in finance, developing discipline, accountability, and an unshakable work ethic. Following my service, I built a lifelong career in federal employment, including work as a Correctional Counselor. That role taught me something invaluable: how to work with people from all walks of life, remain calm under pressure, and always lead with integrity.
Today, those experiences come together in real estate.
I’m a Disabled Veteran, Federal Government professional, NY Notary Public, and a bilingual (English & Spanish) real estate enthusiast who believes buying or selling a home is more than a transaction — it’s a life decision. My approach is detail-driven, honest, and client-first. I focus on education, transparency, and making sure you understand every step of the process so you can move forward with confidence.
Whether you’re a first-time buyer, an investor, or preparing to sell, my goal is simple:
protect your interests, respect your time, and help you make decisions that truly serve your future.
If you’re looking for someone who brings discipline, empathy, real-world experience, and genuine commitment to the table — I’d be honored to work with you.
